Accessibility

Healthcare Insights (HCI) is committed to creating accessible products that enhance the overall workplace environment and improve productivity. HCI strives to make its software, service and support suite usable by people with disabilities, accessible to people who use screen reading software and usable by those with other vision or mobility impairments.

To ensure that HCI meets or exceeds the requirements of the 1998 Amendment to Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, HCI continually reviews INSIGHTS and its site to improve accessibility for people with disabilities.

INSIGHTS and documents posted on our website are in many formats including ASCII or HTML format, accessible to people who use screen reading software and to those with other vision or mobility impairments. Generally, HCI uses Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) to create screen views, pages and documents that are accessible to that segment of our licensee base. In creating HTML documents, HCI follows Section 508 standards; for example, we include alternate text to describe graphics.

The HCI website contains documents in Adobe Acrobat PDF file format accessible to those who use assistive technology such as screen readers. Some legacy PDF files may not be accessible. Licensees experiencing difficulty reading any PDF files in INSIGHTS should contact the INSIGHTS Solution Support team for alternate versions.
